The two halves of Boley, Oklahoma

This is a documentary photography project that takes place in Boley Oklahoma.

I photographed two disctinct communities. One community was the all black polulation of Boley proper and the other was a self-segregated community of Menonites. In photographs you will see the portraits and culture of two very disctinctly different backgrounds and lifestyles living worlds apart, yet right next door to each other.
